On May 7th, Coalition members set up an information booth at the Dubuque Farmers Market to raise awareness of human trafficking in Iowa. On Saturday, June 18th, Coalition members held an informational booth during the Juneteenth celebration at Cominsky Park in Dubuque, Iowa. Juneteenth is a federally recognized holiday to honor the long-awaited freedom of enslaved African Americans on June 19th, 1866. The University of Dubuque student organization Spartan Nation Liberation Foundation (SNLF) held their annual 5K Run the Runway Against Human Trafficking last April 9th, where the Tri-State Coalition Against Human Trafficking hosted a booth.
